Across all facets of life, a little appreciation goes a long way. Particularly within the workplace, Forbes lists “appreciation for your work” as the number one factor to employee happiness. And being the creators of a product that promotes employee engagement, this fact speaks to us. Our QP engineers work day in and day out to keep the different QuestionPro products up and running at high performance. Ultimately, the team plays a pivotal role in supporting global initiatives and is crucial to the continued success of QuestionPro.This is exactly why the management team in our India office started Engineer Appreciation Day, our newest tradition which celebrates the technical team’s hard work and dedication to maintaining and improving product experiences.
On Friday, April 21st, 2017, QuestionPro’s Director of Human Resources, Nikhil Wadekar spearheaded this event, with 40+ engineers and surprising them with a time to appreciate their efforts.
Gaurav Zawar, Senior QA Engineer, received QuestionPro’s first ever “Certificate of Appreciation” for the first quarter’s Engineer Appreciation Day. Gaurav started with QuestionPro in November 2013 and under the guidance of Zolin Gonsalves, Director of Products, he has done an exemplary job on the QA team to polish our users’ experiences within our products and the QuestionPro website. After a stellar first quarter performance, it was clear that he deserved this honor along with an Amazon gift card to sweeten the pot. Huge congratulations to Gaurav for his accomplishments, representing the QA team’s work, and setting the bar for 2017!
We’re excited to move forward with Engineer Appreciation Day and can’t wait to celebrate our technical staff again in July for the Q2 award.
